They fall somewhere in between and have several nicknames like peacock fern, spike moss and more. Selaginella species make wonderful terrarium plants and are commonly used for ground coverage or as trailing vines in planted setups.
Like other Selaginella species, this cultivar appreciates elevated humidity and well-draining substrate. It is also suitable for attaching to natural driftwood or porous structures, where it will slowly attach and spread. Avoid placing it too close to or exposed under direct, high light, as this can burn the plant.
